Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a training course which teaches people how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue. The two day course will teach you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis. Whether in the workplace or for personal gain, you’ll learn to recognise warning signs of mental ill health, and develop the skills and confidence to approach and support someone while keeping yourself safe.

Mental Health Champion
This one day course can be delivered face to face or online and qualifies you as a Mental Health Champion. It will give you an understanding of common mental health issues, will increase your knowledge and confidence to advocate for mental health awareness and your ability to spot signs of mental ill health.

Mental Health Awareness
This course can be delivered face to face or online. It aims to raise awareness of mental health. You will look at what mental health is and how to challenge stigma. It will give you basic knowledge of some common mental health issues and an introduction to looking after your own mental health and wellbeing. It aims to increase your confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue.

Youth Mental Health First Aid
This course can be delivered face to face or online. It is suitable for anyone who teaches, works, lives with or cares for 8 to 18 year olds. One in ten young people experience a mental health issue at any one time and suicide is the leading cause of death in those aged 5-15years.
