Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a training course which teaches people how to identify, understand and help someone who may be experiencing a mental health issue. The two day course will teach you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis. Whether in the workplace or for personal gain, you’ll learn to recognise warning signs of mental ill health, and develop the skills and confidence to approach and support someone while keeping yourself safe.

Mental Health Champion
This one day course can be delivered face to face or online and qualifies you as a Mental Health Champion. It will give you an understanding of common mental health issues, will increase your knowledge and confidence to advocate for mental health awareness and your ability to spot signs of mental ill health.

Mental Health Awareness
This course can be delivered face to face or online. It aims to raise awareness of mental health. You will look at what mental health is and how to challenge stigma. It will give you basic knowledge of some common mental health issues and an introduction to looking after your own mental health and wellbeing. It aims to increase your confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue.

Youth Mental Health First Aid
This course can be delivered face to face or online. It is suitable for anyone who teaches, works, lives with or cares for 8 to 18 year olds. One in ten young people experience a mental health issue at any one time and suicide is the leading cause of death in those aged 5-15years.
This course covers:
First Aid for Teenagers
Would your teenager know what to do if their friend collapsed in front of them? Or attend to and dress a wound? How to treat a burn?
This 2.5hrs will leave them feeling more confident to deal with an emergency situation, covering the essentials of basic life support and supporting a casualty until more help arrives.

Emergency First Aid at Work Course
London Diocese recommends 'it is advisable for those working with children, young people or vulnerable adults to have a basic understanding of First Aid and one leader of each group to hold a current First Aid qualification'.
This course is suitable for churches and covers all of the essential life saving techniques, with both theoretical and hands on training.
Follows HSE Regulations, Ofsted recognised & certificated for 3 years
The course covers :
6 hour course, valid for 3 years
Location usually onsite
Paediatric First Aid Course
Suitable for any family member or carer to learn essential life saving skills for babies and children. Being a parent myself, I understand what it feels like to be responsible for the safety of a newborn and small children.
Having good knowledge, taught in a controlled, safe environment will increase your ability to deal with a first aid emergency calmly and swiftly.

Emergency First Aid at Work Course
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require adequate personnel to ensure their employees immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work.
This one day course is suitable for low hazard work places such as offices and covers all of the essential life saving techniques, with both theoretical and hands on training.
Follows HSE Regulations & certificated for 3 years

6 hour course, valid for 3 years
Location usually onsite
6hrs course designed for who care for children and require a basic paediatric course- Ofsted recognised and certificated, valid for 3 years.
12hr course designed for those involved in Early Years Foundation stage or anyone who wants a more in-depth paediatric course. Course meets requirements for Ofsted and Early Years Foundations Stage. Certificated and valid for 3 years.
